Krista + Justin | Portland, OR | Wedding

This woodland-inspired wedding took place at a very apt venue – the World Forestry Center – surrounded by the trees of Washington Park.  The event was accented with German heirloom details from Krista’s German heritage, including the traditional German wedding cup, dirndl dresses worn by the flower girls, and antique hedgehog dolls, Macki and Mucki, which graced the top of the cake.  Krista is ridiculously talented at making charming DIY wedding details and handcrafted all of the feather and button boutonnieres, the funky wooden heart rings worn by the bridesmaids, and her own whimsical headpiece.  What a lovely celebration, a lovely couple, and a lovely way for me to start off the 2012 wedding season!   Thank you to Dan Levine for second shooting with me!
